Late October: First two weeks in Guatemala will be at Casa Zimmer, Santa Catarina de Bobadilla (outside of Antigua), with this rascal, her coming-soon (any minute now!)  baby sister and their parents:

Van might come for a week. 

Early November: Third week in Guatemala will be hanging out with adventurous "I'd love to!" friend Sue Gnagy , in Antigua for 2 nights:

and then we move to Earth Lodge (and avocado farm) by the village of El Hato, near Antigua:

where we will spend mornings playing with the kids at nearby El Hato School with Manos de Christina vacation day camp. The school WANTS us to speak English, an easy assignment:

Side trip: .... I'm corresponding (in Spanish! Mr Shinkle would be so proud!) with the District Governor for Lions Club there, who has offered introduce us to a group of Damas Leones.
